Our Standard
This website has been created specifically to help the overweight and obese* everywhere live a life according to their own conceptions and perceptions. Heavy people have the same right to enjoy life to the fullest, to receive proper care and respect as do not-so heavy people ("normal people", "skinny people", and „bulemic/aneroxic"- what is normal and healthy anyhow?) If we all have the "Right to remain silent", shouldn't we all have the same rights in other aspects, too?
Our goal with the SimplyBIG online shop is to help improve the "supply situation" for the fat and obese. We are the first European shop to offer everything heavy people need to enjoy their lives to the fullest! (Except clothing)* We have used the phrase "overweight and obese". We do not mean to hurt anyone and apologize if we have. Everyone feels differently about such a phrase. If you do not like this choice of words, please feel free to exchange our phrase with something else.

There will be a few things you will not find here: "clever" tips about how you should or should not live your life; great advice on losing weight; the latest and greatest diet pills, regiments or the fabulous weight-loss tips from America; A skinny doctors' arrogant advice about how to live a healthier life; great reasons to know why you are obese or the (false) wisdom proclaiming that fat ALWAYS equals unhealthy.
You live your life for yourself and no one else. You take responsibility for yourself and your health in whatever way you choose to do so. This is your life and your decisions. Nobody else’s'
There are thousands of different lifestyles out there, thousands of ways to be happy and healthy. People come in all shapes and sizes. End of story!
